Under the inspired and caring leadership of Dr. Stacey A. Goodman, the medical, nursing and other support staff form a highly efficient and effective team which make their treatment center the best to be found anywhere on this planet. Everything within reason was done to make our stay as comfortable as possible during our time there from 17 March to 2 May, 2002. So many kindnesses were shown to our persons in so many ways and by so many people in that team. This genuine from the heart caring, can have a definite though often intangible impact on the success of the medical treatment being received. But the 'proof of the pudding,' as the English would say, the main objective and goal of the center, was Johnny's successful stem cell transplant. As of the date of the posting of this web page, Johnny has no major complications or side effects of the transplant, and is doing G R E A T !!!

Do Guardian Angels come in dollie form? Johnny says they do. Many people ask - or wonder - 'Why is that silly old Vet carrying that dollie around with him?' Johnny never goes into hospital or on long trips without taking his Molly with him. This scheme of Johnny's is almost as good as Briefcase Eddie. But Nurse Justina would not believe him about Briefcase Eddie (we can't blame her... sigh). Beate & Johnny's New Web Sites
We have been very busy here at home in our beehive since we left Nashville at the end of April, 2002. A basic start has been made on the Garden of Our Love Web Site we have been meaning to make for a long time. As we got working on this major endeavor a need to make two web sites, both linked together, was realized to express our 'lighter' side (and allow Johnny to run riot) complete with intentionally sloppy looking pages in Our Beehive Web Site. The Garden of Our Love Web Site expresses important things in our life - the deep love we have for each other, our family and friends, our love for all creatures (real and mystical) and other things dear and important to us.

Update - 28 December, 2003
Someone has been a very busy King Honey Bee since this page was made. I am tempted to re do the page from scratch - not because of content but because of weird HTML coding I used. I have become much more proficient and orderly in my coding.
We still maintain the web sites above but have stopped updating them. The web sites were 'free' from bravepages.com - and I would recommend them to anyone. BUT - I detest advertising banners on my web pages and those pop up boxes - so we purchased our own web site and our own domain name (www.ournewbeehive.com):

I wish to keep the Nashville Transplant Center updated about my activities. It is what I call 'patient pay back time' for all of those needles and other crappy medical procedures. It also appears that Beate and I will be blessed with fostering two teens from Chicago. It is a long, sad story, but I am needed for a few more years, and here I intend to linger until my purpose is completed...
...in the meantime... you are stuck with me. Hehehehehehe...
I have lots of schemes and dreams and characters to introduce you to, and someone is going to have lots of fun doing all of this. It is not forgotten that this chance was made possible by the Transplant Center, and you have Beate's and my sincerest thanks and appreciation for that.
